Well I should hope so, seeing as how you're nowhere near old enough to be legally playing Half-Life.
Bit of an oops moment there from Peter, effectively promoting underage kids playing violent games.
I'll take my Daily Mail hat off now.

Half Life isn't a particularly gory or harrowing experience, nor sexualised. It's fairly cartoonish really. Can't really think what makes it a 15 above the "woo guns" and some blood.

Also, it's perfectly legal for his son to play any game, it's just not legal for him to buy them. As shooters go, HL2 is only just above Saturday morning cartoon levels of violence and if your kid isn't the sort to be scared by the Ravenholm section, there's very little that I'd say is unsuitable for any child who had a firm grasp of the distinction between fantasy violence and reality.

In fairness, I see this as "Peter the massive fan of games" speaking, not "Peter the huge executive for MGS"

When i was 7 I was playing Doom and Duke Nukem which is far more gorey than Half Life is.
I really dont see a problem with this. Are you saying you never played violent games when you were younger? Stop being so hypocrite and stop making stupid judgments over Sir Pete

Yes, I did play violent games when I was kid. However, there was nothing anywhere nearly as violent or explicit back then as there is today. I think Resident Evil was a huge watershed moment in the industry when it came to depiction of gore.
Now, whether or not you think that children are capable of handling that violence is one point, but the fact remains that games are rated, and that they are rated for a reason, and this video somewhat undermines the standard industry line of "violent games shouldn't be played by kids" that gets wheeled out as justification every time someone complains about videogame violence.

I agree with most of what you post on here, but the argument that "they weren't as realistic in my day" doesn't really hold too much water imo. People who were in their twenties in the Speccy/ C64 heyday were saying the same thing about Doom when it was released.
One thing I'm not sure about with age ratings though, they don't make it illegal for someone under that age to actually play the game or watch the film concerned, do they? I thought it just meant shops couldn't supply it to someone under that age. That seems sensible, as does letting parents have the final decision: but the corollary is that the hysteria about it should be called out for the absurdity it is.
When I say that parents need to take responsibility for the media their kids consume, I mean exactly that: the parent will (or should) know what their child is and isn't capable of. I saw Peter Jackson's Braindead and Bad Taste way before I was legally old enough to rent them myself, and I'm fine. Ok, I've got an insatiable hunger for human brains, but who hasn't?

He's a fucking liar, Fable 2 promised so much but was actually pretty crap. Milo isn't happening. He's a massive dreamer, and he has the audacity to post this smug video where he's using his child to sell his new game, and ramble some shit about Half Life 3.
I'll be giving Feeble 3 a miss. I hated Feeble 2, it took me a year to complete because I could only play 10-20 mins at a time because it was so bad. Being a Scotsman I had to get my money's worth. The day I finished it, I burned it in the fireplace.

Fable wasnt molyneux's game.. he took credit like he always does.. but it was big blue box's game... If it was anyones "baby" it was Dene Carter's.

The other fact is that the whole of Lionhead during 2003-2004, including Dene, Simon and Peter worked themselves to death (working 'till 3am wasn't uncommon) like the rest of us to get it finished. So saying "all Peter did was take credit" is not only unfair, it's factually incorrect.
