Really good trailer, but dropping the COD name is a bit odd.

Still, maybe it will finally let the rather bloated and confused CoD name die now, or at least spawn MW as a tandem series with Treyarch working on the CoD name.

Interesting in that implies a more terrorist situation that a more usual war. Possibly why the CoD prefix is dropped? Anyone got a translation for the voice right at the end of the vid?

The voice in the end of the trailer seems to say "The revolution is not possible. Non-revolutionary situation" in Russian. The voice has a slight accent though. And yes, the second sentence is mighty weird in Russian as well.

They could call it Haddock for all I care it's still a buy.

Sounded a bit Die Hard 2 to me with all the Airport business going on. Anti-Terrorist or.... do you get the option to play the terrorist as well ala C&C NOD or GDI campaign stylee.

CoD4: Modern Warfare did imply a terrorist situation.

I hope they will reuse the good simple parts of the first game so that my PC can run it
Whereas WaW used the bad complex parts and my PC didn't run the single player properly. Multiplayer seemed to run fine, strangely enough.

hmmmm letting you play terrorists would be fun but a PR nightmare i can't imagine Activision willing to get embroiled in...

Once i got into it i really started enjoying WAW. Especially once you can forgive the horribly imbalanced weapons in multiplayer....

Dunno Pro Evolution dropped the ISS so I dont see it as that much of an issue, also when I think of COD I always think of WW2 senerios
