Modern Warfare 2 - London launch

Ten years ago, if someone had told us that a game release would be getting this sort of treatment, we'd have laughed, nay, scoffed in their faces. How times change.

Whats wrong about talking about the biggest launch of the year? I dont get the complaints, its not like they have stopped writing about other games

So I won the eurogame modern warfare 2 launch tickets. Eurogamer gave "activision" my e-mail details and then I was e-mailed By a PR firm saying where to get my wrist band and a free game. Turns out I only got a wristband and not free game. The launch was pretty crap if you wasnt a "celebrity" and me like the muggins I am spend a considerable amount of money getting to london and staying the night. Cant see myself going to another activision game launch again.

"Biggest entertainment release of all time."

Really? Find that hard to believe.

Looks like the launch party was alright, although, nothing special tbh. Just get a couple of lights, get the game on tv displays and hire some actors to play soliders - sorted!!
