The animation in this game is utter garbage, and if nothing else all this is showing is the over repetition of the 1,2, 3 combo.

is it me or are all the moves the same, i saw scorpion and batman do the same move (the one where he slides on the floor and grabs their legs with his and brings them down) looks very repetative.

The freefall combat looks absolutely awesome, a brilliant idea. Every single other thing about the game looks like total shite - mystical martial arts masters and superpowered heroes slugging each other like drunks outside a chip shop. I guess I sould have learned from the other 43 times they've said "no, MK is a proper game this time, honest."

It isn't true 3d fighting either (if there is such a thing), it's just old skool 2d in a 3d environment...looking meh
