Thats some atrocious voice acting right there. Still, the game looks ace so who cares!

Christ. That is the first thing related to this game that I haven't really liked.

The animation was very nice, but the dialogue was AWFUL. Sounds like the back story is (initially) rather cliched and throwaway.

"Framed for a crime she didn't commit" indeed. Sheesh. I wonder if they hired someone in or whether the devs just wrote it all themselves.

Agreed. The gameplay footage was infinitely more interesting than the (presumably) expensively-produced trailer.

Art style looks like all those CGI cartoons kids get nowadays. I'm not sure how I feel about that, it looks kinda cool but also quite derivative.

Voice over seems to be purposefully reminiscent of Kill Bill.

I don't think the animation suits the game. The first trailer was ultra realistic. This cartoon style was popular 5 years ago.

Either way, first EA game I'm interested in _ever_, and i've been gaming since the NES.

maybe it was the strength of the previous 3D trailer. I do hope the game looks more like that than this.

Aeon Flux isn't anime, it's a mature animation (maybe maquerading as anime).

They could have made a story with an uprise against the system and this person is the courier that us being hunted etc... instead of the usual money-making sotryline.

@ wizbob: I'm not sure I see the Spook Country link - the novel had people who transport information in it, but that's about it. There was no-one being framed for anything.

When will games get better scripts and better voice talent? When will EA realise that the sexy-voice-woman in Burnout was fun when audio was young but now things need a bit more character?

Does her sister escape for a high security military stockade and form the A-Team?

hmm, tricky one.
I applaud a european company using 2d animation again but the voice-over is pretty immature and i still think the character design should have stayed in the 'also rans' pile.

music is as sweet as the e3 video as well... heres hoping for the death of Ea traxx!
