Nice vid! A tiny bit vulgar in spite of the elegant visual design. I also hope the great-looking platforming keeps intuitive and doesn't degenerate into maze-like, boring levels where you advance inch by inch and lose the sense of flow.

What is wrong with you? You are on the internet, which is full of actual nakedness. Seriously dude.

well badger me, thats fantasic.
But its so french in every concievable way that i have problems understanding its by swedes for (gulp) e.a.
This really is the sort of treatment of first person action i have been imagining for the last five or so years. Top bombing dice.
In fact it was almost painful when the character (who looks decidedly more eastern european than asian) took the gun up in that horribly familiar gun&hands at bottom right of screen stance.
Less of that please... more of the cool ambient music

looks great, but i really hope the big red "GO HERE" indicators are only for the E3 demo and not throughout the game... could remove all sense of any challenge.

Looks great and am very interested; although it doesn't look as though the baddies (i.e. the Police) will be much of a threat though.

For some reason it reminds me of that Sir Digby Chicken Caesar character from the Mitchell & Webb Experience. Hopefully they will licence the Dick Barton theme to complete the effect.

Yeah, it's good, but wouldn't it be better if it were set in World War II, with aliens? ;)

Thank goodness a developer is finally making something that looks slightly different from everything else on the market. Between this and the new POP, this year looks like it'll be very good for people who want something other than grime on their TV screens.

@beak4257

my sentiments exactly. This is going to be a game that people either love or simply can't play due to motion sickness. I sadly fall into the latter category. I'm fine with most games but, quake 4 taught me the meaning of queasy as did doom 3. I think ID have somehow mastered the art of stupidly exagerated bobbing motions.

The only game I ever got motion sickness from was Half Life on the PS2. But I got it bad, 15 minutes playing followed by 60 minutes of nausea.

Try sitting further from the screen, I ended up sitting a long way back and it was much better. Then I got kind of tolerant to it and could move back to normal distance. Pause every few minutes too and look around the room/out a window.

Looks really great but I have a couple of minor issues - I'm not keen on the way many items are red to indicate its the path forward. I hope it's not too linear. Also, there's not much gunplay going on there - I hope its up to scratch (although this being DICE I expect so).

As for the controls, I expect they'll have gone down the idiot-proof Ass Creed route of holding a button and letting the game play itself for you. However, I do hope its a little more involved than that.

Been looking forward to seeing more about this for a couple of months - looks fantastic! Fingers crossed they can pull this off!!
@Triggerhappytel - i agree the obviously marked route i have heard tell of is a slight concern but lets hope theres more tactical planning in advance to get to those points rather than pure reaction to hit them

I've got a good feeling about this one...though it may also be to do with the fact that I'm probably one of only about four people who liked Breakdown! That said, I hope the "running" sections are more prevalent than the "combat" sections. If I want lots of combat, I'll play Call of Duty thank you very much.

The brave move was to keep it first person. Looking at the vid it makes a huge difference compared to the 3rd person PoP. It does for me anyway.
