Mini Ninjas - Reveal trailer

Published 19 January, 2009 Duration 2:12

The freshly announced Mini Ninjas comes from the stable of IO Interactive, maker of the Hitman series. We can't imagine you'll be killing too many maids and stuffing their bodies into cleaning cupboards in it, but you never know.

If there's a God (there isn't) then this would be a cross between Ininja and The Lost Vikings.

No gameplay footage = no sale

Are they gonna talk? If so, it may make or break the game on the voice actors they get. They gotta get it right.

    Interesting, at least.

What is wrong with you people. It's a 'reveal' trailer, to announce the new ip to the world. I't's not due out for another six months, I'm fairly sure they'll be showing some gameplay vids in the intervening time.

As an introduction to the characters I quite enjoyed it.

Oh come on. The game isn't even made yet, and when it is, there will be gameplay footage.

Pretty much everything looks kind of lame. Movements stiff, lighting looks too shiny even with cel shading and what's up with disappearing just to appear at the same well lit place again?

Lol. The technical critisisms I can agree with, but are you actually also critisising the battle strategy of cartoon ninjas?

As a story board I thought it worked fine. Ninjas hear something and disapear. Bad guys enter the scene. Ninjas, after identifying the enemy, think "we can take them" so they reappear - right in plain view, bold as brass. Ninjas then proceed to kick ass, proving they are hard enough to reappear in a brightly lit circle.

Maybe I too am reading too much into this :)

I really liked that...seems rather sombre for a kids title, but I like that. =)

i don't think they exist while disappeared. So it's just to regain the surprise element over the enemy.

    also yea, lol panda.
