Midnight Club: Los Angeles - Cops trailer

For the gameplay's sake, Rockstar San Diego's vision of LA is generally happy to accommodate high-speed racing. But you'd better watch yourself when you're not on a mission, because the fuzz is not messing about.

    Awesome!

Pre-ordered this last night, now all I need to do is tear myself away from Saints Row 2 and Fable II when that arrives!

I can't wait to play this game over everything else out this week even though I admit I feel a little embarrassed admitting that when Fable II and Dead Space are released this week too. Looks like a nice mix of the Need for Speeds of old and the underwhelming Burnout Paradise, only prettier and potentially better. Roll on Thursday/Friday! :)

I loved the earlier games in the series, but having a hard time getting exited about this one... maybe because Burnout Paradise looks far better?

@Darren: Your remarks reg. Burnout Paradise insults my race-game religion. I demand you recall the post or issue a patch!

Well I've had this game pre-ordered for a long time.
I played all of the previous installments and am a big fan of the series.
I've really been looking forward to it with the disapointing Burnout Paradise and Juiced 2. Not to mention the fact that I hate Need for Speed.
This game is gonna be sweeeeeeet!!!

What is wrong with Burnout Paradise? Please keep your answers short as I have damaged my attention span.
It is an arcade style game, if you play GT or GTA then it is quite understandable if it is not difficult enough for you.
I am totally avoiding these games as I would not play any others.

Burnout Paradise is missing features that ruin enjoyment and break the game:

    - time spent wandering to find an event

    - right stick camera causes disorientation

    - too easy to lose where you're going

    - just isn't fun to race like Burnout 3

It has a wonderful engine, and it loads of fun to mess around in, but it has little soul and little focus.

I hate when software - games or otherwise - introduces a new list of annoyances.

    Unnecessary!
