That's interesting. I enjoy a gameplay mechanic which you can utilise throughout on anything. I can't help thinking as a side game you have 2 minutes to make/prepare a meal. MGS:celeb chef....

What, Metal Gear Solid: Souffle Rising?

Carving your way through a level sounds like fun though I hope it is more than a one-note gimmick.

Finally, an MGS I can enjoy (due to the lack of guns).

OMG, so much more gory that the other MG's, LOOKS AWSOME though IMO, i could really get used to that!

I wonder if this will get past the censors

I quite like the look of this.

"I can't help thinking as a side game you have 2 minutes to make/prepare a meal."

With MGS games, you can cook a meal for real during the cutscenes.

    Ok, that looks awesome.

Looking forward to this. I'm one of the few who thought Raiden was an intersting character even before his cyborg-ninja appearance in 4. And the mechanic looks interesting. I'm taking a wild stab and guess the cut is lined up with the analogue stick somehow, though i could well be wrong. If they get the system working well it'll be awesome, but if it feels unwieldy the game will suffer, critically. I am slightly concerned about the camera angle in some of those shots, when he's hacking at the melon Raiden obscures too much of the screen, for example.

@fluff_the_tiger, there are many games more graphic than this already out there, so I don't think the censors will be a big problem. In terms of blood and gore it's really quite tame compared to, for example, God of War III

Am I the only one who was slightly apalled by this? I thought I was pretty desensitised to gore and violence, but the idea of actually slicing humans into pieces makes me shudder... this is literally sick.

The tech and the food cutting looked pretty incredible though... I'd like to see some further similar applications of this.

I'm surprised but this actually looks pretty good.

This better have ingenious move support damn it! You have buttons you have accurate motions, lets see some innovative game play when you combine the two in clever ways!
