Indeed, as a proof of concept that's the goal. Saying it doesn't look as fun as playing it with mouse/keyboard is kind of missing the point.

I'm all for motion sensing tech being available for the masses, and it's implementation in games. As long as on certain games this is optional.
Sports games, combat games and the like could attract a larger more physical audience. That new fight night game, the reasons for not making it Kinect Compatible are fair enough, but there will be people who are fit enough to fight 12 rounds.
If this is a stepping stone towards better interaction with games (move, kinect etc etc) for the future, then brilliant. We're lucky to be gamers during this time of tech growth!
