    Same game, but cheaper:

    PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew.

    It's pretty much the same game, only the screenplay and dialogue are better.

    I'm really looking forward to it, kinda awkward scaling the building with Anderson section from the demo aside.

    But this trailer makes it look like the most generic Sci-fi movie ever.

    THESE ATTACKS ARE POINTLESS

    Liked it very much. Unfortunately the demo didn't impress me quite that much. It needed more polish and the especially the beginning was very rushed. I just hope the final version of the game will be somehow different. Smooth out animations, include more dialogue options and so on but I fear what we saw in the demo is also going to be the final version of the beginning of the game...too bad.

    Edit: OH and btw, know this was said a million times already but still:
    If the attack is so fast and so massive, what the fuck will be left of the earth worth fighting for? I mean, we all know sheperd is going out to assemble the whole galaxy against the enemy but this will take time right? I'd really like to know if and how Bioware deals with that in the game. We will see...

    @Lunatic4ever
    What worries me is that BioWare seems not inclined to comment on the PS3 demo frame-rate issues; so far they have just said, I quote, "we are aware of the issue and we are investigating the issue. Thanks for bringing it to our attention."
    Honestly I don't want to end up with another Skyrim so maybe you Eurogamer can contact BioWare and ask for answers: so far our attempts have been fruitless and maybe you will have more chances than us!

    Preferred the short version of the trailer, I don't think adding in the scenes from the E3 trailer improves it in any way.

    Considering how good the Mass Effect 2 trailer was ("if Shepard can't gain their trust... they're all as good as dead";), this effort is a bit of a let down. Mawkish and generic.

    even altough i wasn't that impressed by demo, rarely play multiplayer, and i hate focus on shooting in trailers, i preordered collectors edition. maybe it's stupid of me. but bioware made me So invested in these series, that all i want, is that when the credits for ME3 will roll, i will look back and think " man, that was time well spent" - please bioware, make it happen.

    I think some shots of characters we've actually seen would be more emotive than some kid in a field of sunflowers. Besides, have these people not seen Independence Day? You start with the major cities and move on to the smaller places later. One Reaper for a child on a farm is frankly inefficient.
  • blarty #10 3 months ago

    @digitalash The 'ZOMG! Spoilers!!!' backlash that rained down on Bioware against the ME2 trailer is probably what led to this trailer for ME3
  • blarty #11 3 months ago

    @marmaduke Given the concept of the Reapers - they don't care for what humans think as inefficient..... they'll get to them all eventually whether it's a single farm or a tower block, it's much the same.
  • bobfish09 #12 3 months ago

    @marmaduke They're trying to make us care, by 1) Making the Earth the focus of the invasion and 2) having the Reapers killing innocent children.

    Not working for me personally, but that is what they are trying to do.

    YOU ARE BACTERIA
  • Dave #14 3 months ago

    The trailer wasn't outstanding in any way, but because it's ME3, it does give me that "OMG, we have to save Earth!" feeling. And all those Reapers look positively menacing! Can't wait.
  • WadiumArcadium #15 3 months ago

    @Bremenacht Haven't you died yet?
  • DurzoBlint #16 3 months ago

    If they hadn't totally de-fanged the Reapers, maybe this trailer would be impressive.
  • Toodle122 #17 3 months ago

    Song at the end is "Protectors Of The Earth" by Two Steps From Hell... How appropriate :p

    Really looking forward to this now, if it combines the Bioware style conversation and choice systems with good gun play, I may never stop playing!
  • Ptarmigandalf #18 3 months ago

    @Bremenacht Yeah, but look at what happened to the Martians...

    For these people that are saying why should they bother taking Earth back when it is completely devastated?? Well here is probably your answer..... They have wanted to take the Reapers down for ages (Well shepard has) and if all the reapers are heading to Earth at the same time..... A great offence is a great defence right? So taking them all down with as much firepower as they can from all the races in the galaxy whilst the reapers are all on one planet would be pretty logical for future survival of the whole universe.

    Just sayin'
