Aside from going a little too heavy on the make-up, I think they did a good job on her appearance. I think I might very well ditch my custom FemShep in favour of the new default.

It's sorta mental that their elaborate voting campaign still managed to produce Jenny "Generic" McFaceson. This barely looks different from the default female face. Meanwhile, there's a distinct difference in quality between what you can do with the editor and the default male model.

I think modelling her after a real person like they did with male Shepard would've been smarter.

I hope the sparring stuff in this trailer isn't an indication that they have unique animations/cutscenes for male and female Shepard, because one of the awesomest things about being a lady space cop in Mass Effect is that for all intents and purposes the game assumes you're a man. You almost accidentally get zero sexist bullshit and come across as the toughest, no nonsense space lady this side of (un-Other M-ified) Samus Aran. I dread to think what happens if BioWare stomps in and actually direct these scenes based on gender, because in that particular regard they've proven themselves about as subtle as.. Optimus Prime.

@asho What I hate most is the end bit where the guy who made the trailer couldn't be bothered to ask a voice pro to announce the game. So he just got on the mic and said "Final Fantasy 13".

Complete rubbish topped up with extra dreadful at the end.

IMO, FemShep looks quite different in this trailer to the artwork and box cover. I thought the one I made was bad, terrible making faces, here she looks worse.

@Miths The REAL commander Shepard has featured on all 3 games box art so far. Bioware obviously place more value in Male-Shep.

Shepard is a man using default settings. He is on the box art as confirmation. Anyone that plays as femshep is just a bit weird or is actually female of course.

Nice to finally see Miranda, Jacob and Samara (and I think Legion). I don't know why but the crew from ME2 seems to be barely in this game and I much prefer them to the ME1 crew.
