Looks cool. Looked even cooler on Saturday when other sites broke the story...

There'd better be some cool new reveal during the EG Expo since they're exhibiting this there! Seem to be revealing a new member of Sheps "dirty dozen" with each show; E3, PAX, Tokyo...

EDIT: What the fuck is so horrific about this post to earn -6 so speedily? It's hardly a trolling comment so unless flag worshipping EG staffers are upset that I've pointed out they're being slow at reporting something most Mass Effect fans already found themselves, and are deeply upset that I'm bigging up the big shindig I'm joining them at in a month, it must be a bunch of guillless wankers following the gentle breeze of negativity from one poster who didn't understand the winky smiley and thought I was a shit stirrer. While I've always thought of Bioware as someone who ought to make game engines for Black Isle I do own every game they've ever released. Yet somehow I'm vastly unamazed by their 3 upcoming titles and this soddy teenage targeted marketing they're doing doesn't exactly improve their chances.

"Not enough kittens and physics references in Mass Effect"...

It's not "teenage marketed". And I'm guessing that music (which is probably what makes most peoples teeth grind) is a temp track, just like the Dragon Age trailer with the Manson or whatever that everyone said exactly the same shit about.

Amusing seeing this reveal where everyone on all the sites (wooh yeah, negatives for Moribundman for lightheartedly pointing out this has been on other news sites first) where everyone's saying this character's aimed at emos, kids, lesbians, metalheads, nazis...

She is supposed to be a complete batshit psychotic that you break out of a maximum security prison facility. I'm not picturing a pink frilly dress and curtsies there... I think they did a good job of conveying that and I'm sure they - being Bioware and all - will fully round the characters when you see them for longer than 60 seconds.

I think you'll find the characters in the sequel are all supposed to be different flavours of unsavoury and you aren't supposed to want to give them a cuddle.

I don't think it can be Gillian - the Ascension book is set just after the siege of the Citadel, when she is 12. ME2 is two years after ME1.
