wow, and ending where the character dies perminatly, mid way thought a trilogy, makes you wonder what mass effect 3 would look like *slap* stop it, stop it now, let mass effect 2 come out, then wonder!

Or you start out as a new character (who's levelled up if needed), one that is neatly introduced in ME3.
