Nintendo's flagship racer draws ever closer, and the inexorable advance of the advertising behemoth begins. Here's the UK trailer, which we should imagine you'll all be seeing on television very soon.

I haven't even read the review for this. I love the SNES original, although have found the last few console iterations very dissapointing.

I think every console needs a good kart racer or two, though. PS3 could have Speed Freaks 2, and Xbox... don't know. Halo Kart, perhaps?

i think nintendo should grow up, and move on in turn make new games instead on relying on ones that once upon a time made huge success and WERE great. games have moved on and nintendo should too ffs 2008 ppl.

CHAOS_BROON: I'm guessing Nintendo will grow up and move on from tried and tested franchises like Mario Kart just as soon as they stop being wildly popular and critically adored. Since neither has happened yet, you're probably best off finding other games to play, and leaving tired old scrap like this to suckers like me who still genuinely enjoy it. Everybody wins!

Chaos its a bit extreme to say the mariokart games WERE great!
Last version on the DS is widely recognised as one of the best versions of the game. I for one hope Nintendo never grow up and keep churning out mariokarts in years to come. Each to there own but mariokart imo is probably one of the best multiplayer games of all time and has arguably the biggest fanbase out there!
Wii version online should be really good fun with 12 players! I cant wait to sit down and have a laugh and NEVER grow up!!
