The unholy alliance of Mario and Sonic generated a fair bit of interest, not to mention cash, for Nintendo and SEGA last year, so this follow-up was pretty much inevitable. We've always preferred the winter Olympics too, mostly because of the luge.

Should it not be the Winter Olympic Games? Olympic Winter Games sounds wrong. Any pedants out there know which is right?

I hope it'll include snowboard cross!
The press release confirms balance board, support on Wii
(though, frankly, I thought that being in there was an absolute no-brainer to begin with, because of Nintendo being involved).

Olympic Winter Games is the correct,official way of saying it...but Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics rolls off the tongue better. Sega may not have had a choice.

Is this on the PS3 and Xbox 360 too judging by the quality of the graphics shown in the trailer?

The previous game is good fun in small bursts but after a week or two of play, it sits on the shelf for life.

no Cloudane this will be wii and ds only due to it having mario in it, as for graphics, what you see here is the Full Motion Video (FMV) and not in game graphics. The PS3 and XBOX 360 will get a more serious like Sega did with Beijing.
