MAG - Announcement trailer

Zipper Interactive's online shooter was a pleasant surprise at an otherwise fairly staid Sony conference, its promise of 256 player battles and an intriguing hierarchy system snapping a few journos out of their daydreams. Keep an eye on the gamepage for more as we hear it.

    What i find funny is that these next gen games still use those 8-bit numbers. 256? Are they using an 8 bit value to store the soldiers IDs or what?

    Anyway... we need some of these games on consoles. Lets hope the gameplay delivers.

    The game's name is brilliant. Tho I can't wait for trailers of HG: The Horror Game and SG: The Strategy Game.

    Haha yeah the game title is genius. Would have loved to have been on the board when the brainstorming was in full swing...bet someone was just so bored and spouted out "Massive Action Game"...im sold :)

    Be interesting to see the in game footage. Can't imagine it looking very pretty!

    soldiers look like idiots, on a tactical level...armoured gun emplacement...i know, lets attack it head on with infantry :) WWJD!!?

    yeh, the title is superb.
    You think the tactics in the Cinematic for this game are poor?
    Its napoleonic genius compared to some of the hilarious battles certain american companies put in their trailers.
    two armies charging each other like some medieval war movie in games like GOW2/halo rts/fuel of war. rilly dumb
