We've taken down yesterday's "first 15 minutes" video for Mafia II as 2K have asked us to keep the game's opening a secret. Here's the next 15 minutes (or so) instead, picking up from where the first video left off, at the beginning of your first full day in Empire Bay.

Like the game-world though, I feel chilly just watching it.

This is surely more representative of the game in any case. The first 15 mins was a prologue consisting of soldier combat, made it look like a COD World at War clone.

I've been playing the PC version for a few hours and in no way does this deserve a lowly 4/10, that's just a ridiculous score that should be reserved for the likes of Naughty Bear, it's more like a 7 or 8 so far.

Still don't know why that got a 4/10. I thought that was decent enough and definitely looking forward to playing it for myself on Friday. The demo is still keeping me amused. Those pick up lines were a good laugh.

I'm usually not that bothered by screen tear, but that was disturbing to watch.

Is it like that playing the game or is it the video acting up?

The screen tear is a 'problem' (to me anyway) in the PS3 and 360 versions, however it's non existent on the PC version with v-sync enabled plus it's all round visually superior.

I would highly recommend anyone get the PC version if at all possible.

lol @ the advert for Mafia 2 around this here site - eurogamer.fr - 10/10........eurogamer.cz - 9/10.....eurogamer.it - 8/10. If they'd have kept going, wonder if they'd have gotten to eurogamer.uk - 4/10 would they have shown it? FAF.
