Looks surprisingly good. BTW this is running on the brand new 2.0 version of the Capcom games engine (don't think even RE5 uses this one).

    Still the same explosions :)
I'm currently playing through the first one but I can't say I like it enough to go for a second one if it's more of the same.
Coop would be very cool though.

The end of the first one killed it for me. The whole memory wipe was just like a kick in the teeth for all the hard work to get there.

What is this foreign gobbledygook he is speaking?

Woo, co-op and damn that looks pretty. Might wait for PC version if it gets one. Capcom usually do release PC versions, albeit very quietly.

I don't even remember that bit. OH THE IRONY!!

I kind of stopped paying attention to the plot of Lost Planet, as I found it to be explained via overlong cutscenes filled with cliched nonsense.

That said, I enjoyed the game rather a lot and found my lack of plot knowledge had no negative effect on said enjoyment. And that trailer was rather impressive.

A few starship troopers "references" in the music if I'm not mistaken.

I really liked the first one. Hopefully this one will be at least just as good. The big boss fights, snow and mechs were really a nice change from the usual 3rd person grey colored run of the mill shooters.

Liked the first one, even though it made little to no sense. This looks much better graphically, but if they are going away from the snow style gameplay, I'm sure the plot will be just as contradictory as the first to get to that point.

So, with no prior knowledge of Lost Planet, this seems to be a 'let's colonise and conquer a new planet, killing all indigenous life as we do cos it looked at us funny' story.
    Am I right?

Looks awesome! The co-op elements should be epic. Three-man VS? Everyone climbing on an Akrid's back? Count me in, for the frakking win!

My, what a bunch of shockingly unoriginal toss. Next!

(And can someone *please* get some throat lozenges for that poor bloke doing the voiceover).

"This is a sequel that users all around the world have been asking for..."

    Okami 2?!!

Looks pretty nice, but I hope the controls are better than the last game. I only played the demo of the original (on PS3), but the controls were just awful.

    @Mudo

Yeah, pretty much. It does suffer from the whole "but they are bug eyed aliens, so its ok to kill them all off and pinch their planet" mentality.

Retards, forgot again to make the mechs shift their body weight from one foot to another when walking. Like this it looks like some strings are holding them so as not to fall. I thought in a big company there were supposed to be people with a little bit of brain left who approve or reject stuff merrily. Where the hell were those people?
