Sony's new digital champion, the diminutive Sackboy, gets the honour of a starring role in this faux nature documentary. Also quite a stealthy reveal of the enemy killing mechanic.

enemies are recognizable by googly eyes?

edit:
One of the better trailers, the previous Music + sackboy emotion ones don't really show the game off too well (to the point when people don't think its a game for some odd reason)

It was nice to see a description to how enemies worked, the external brain thing seems to be a simple enough way to emulate a lot of traditional platform enemies (instant goombas mainly ) and the fact you can have them hop around or perform attacks (and have the brain exposed only at certain times) should be useful

looking forward to the next one

Hmmmmm. Am I the only person who couldn't place that accent. WTF sony must be spend twice as much on marketing for this game and they choose an austrailian/brummy to do the voice over? Cant wait for the game though.

I recently picked Bangai-O on DS (criminally over looked game IMO) and I can't help but draw similarities between the game and what I've read so far on LBP. Both take an established old school genre and subvert classic interpretations of the style by mixing other genre stylings into the mix. Both also have a comprehensive creation tool which allows the user to create and share their own levels with friends. Both also have co-op and competitive multiplayer modes. I guess I'm just shocked at the quality of Treasures title and how much they've been able to do with such simple tech. Artistically, they're obviously very different, and LBP is probably more equally focussed with it's components, but if you have a DS I really encourage to check the game out if you're into action games. It's pure genius!

I fed up up to the teeth of this bloody game!

I'll admit though, while other trailers have pricked my interest this is the first trailer where I actually "get" some of the excitement some have for LBP.

Good trailer, just shut up now (PLEASE!), release a demo then the game. Job done (if the hype is justified).
