    nice!
big tip for those playing don't go down the trapdoor in the Lumos classroom, it's glitchy and you won't be able to get out!

There was a trapdoor? Can't say I noticed it, thankfully.

Can't believe I played this for five hours straight last night and still only completed 10% of it. Travellers Tales have yet to produce a crap Lego game.

The graphics are really good, much better than normal for a LEGO game, probably because most of the backgrounds aren't made of bricks. Shame about the yucky screen tearing though (not that the young nippers will notice it) but I presume the games still have a v-sync option in the menus?

There is a v-sync option, or at least there is on the PS3 version (the one I'm playing). I tried it with v-sync on, but the drop in framerate was unacceptable for me, and the screen tearing doesn't happen that often anyway.

One thing I have noticed though is how buggy this game is. Last night I had to restart it four times: The first time, it simply crashed; the second, the studs were black squares; the third, it somehow synched my single controller (I don't have a second controller) to both players and finally the fourth time, I was able to play the game.

The game also doesn't make any use of the HDD at all except for game saves, which to me is a shame because loading times between levels can sometimes be lengthy.

@uknortherner2000 - I read somewhere that enabling v-sync caps the framerate at 30 fps instead of the default 60 fps which is probably what you're noticing. Personally, I didn't mind that in the earlier games I played on the 360 as the LEGO games don't really need 60 fps IMO. Much preferred v-synced 30 fps to the tear-tastic 60 fps anyway, no matter how minimal the tearing might me.

The review mentioned it though so I'm surprised that Traveller's Tales still haven't got their engine running at 60 fps with v-sync on after all this time. It's not like the LEGO games are pushing that many polygons per second even when there's lots of studs on screen. I mean the Wii even runs this game!
