Apparantly the controls are still crap, wish they weren't, this could have been one of the games that I would get a PS3 for.

Maybe it would have been better if they combined standard joystick movement with some of the gesture recognition stuff, rather than have it all down to sixaxis.

If tilt axis is the daddy for flying and so much better than a joystick, why do real planes still use joysticks?

Do you think you could use a tilt controller whilst pulling high G loads? Hmm.

Besides, in the games world tilt isn't accurate and I like resting my hands on my lap (fat legs you see).

So, just stop using tilting sensors. I like to be still when playing >_>

Kinda funny they pretend the Sixaxis is actually a GOOD thing...

    This is just damage control.

"Master the beast!". If you do not succeed.. you SUCK! (not us)

Controls are good actually, though it takes some time to master them.

They are, but you have to be open to it. Steering your dragon works well and the motion controls add some form of realism to it (for as much as realism can be a part of a game with dragons). Yes, controls are looser than analog sticks would be but then, a dragon is no X-wing. With analog controls, the game would lose its soul. The only thing Factor 5 should have improved upon before release is the 180 turn. It works 95% of the time but it should have worked 100% (or maybe I just need some more training).

So if you really hate motion controls, stay away from this title (the ridiculously low review scores will probably already have taken care of that though). If you want to try something different, Lair is quite a good game with challenging and varied gameplay, strong visuals, high quality score and story that’s quite good for a video game.
