    Fuck off with retailer exclusives please.

    I'm getting really pissed off feeling like I am getting half a game because I didn't buy it from five different shops at once.

    The strange thing about these GAME exclusives is that every time I see one I want to shop there even less, which I doubt is what they intended.

    I wanted to get this at launch could shop around and get it for about £36 but with game it will be £40, so the question is do I want to pay £4 or £5 for a single mission answer is NO. Just give it to every one who buys a new copy already bloody hell.

    This will prove unpopular, but whenever I've pre-ordered from Game I've always received my order a day or two before the release date, and with this extra mission plus the badge challenge that comes with Game pre-orders they've pretty much confirmed a sale for me, as much as I hate these stupid incentives.

    The only other one I'd consider is the mission you get from Play, but they have been absolutely terrible with pre-orders for the last two years so I'm staying well clear of them.

    Always wanted to type this, "I'm with (the) Kinky Mong" :D
    The extra missions interest me over a melee/shooter boosting coat and I've never had a problem with GAME.

    EDIT - Having said that, I'd much rather all the retailers had the same version with all the bonuses but they don't so I'll go where I get the best package.

    In all fairness i used shopto recently but they've started to ship the games later and later. Through game online i always ended up getting the game Thursday at the very latest they've always been good on pre-orders but if it's worth the extra couple of quid that's down to personal preference really. £34.99 online for a game seems the norm these days for day-releases. If game matched that they'd do a hell of a lot more business.

    This retailer exclusive content is getting out of hand. I could deal with it being a couple of outfits - but missions? I'm curious to know how exactly this benefits the publisher? It sure as fuck does gamers no favours because a lot of the time exclusive content doesn't even appear on GOTY editions - it just disappears into the ether.

    that face tec is amazing!

    So why should I get less game for my money if I buy it from somewhere else? You dont buy a dvd box set from a shop and get it home to find out that whole episodes are missing and that you can only get to see the whole series if you had bought it from a specific retailer, so why is this fucking shitty errr... shit allowed to happen in games? We need better police for the industry badly, publishers and retailers are getting too fucking greedy these days and its just making the consumers suffer.

    @yinying

    I believe this is a new game engine, not the GTA one; whilst that doesn't rule out the PS3 getting an inferior version (hoping not, as that's my system, too), we're not in the position of already knowing the engine was developed for the 360 originally.

    @everyone else

    They've already confirmed all these "exclusives" will be coming to PSN/XBLA afterwards.

    Yeah, they should really fuck off with the shop exclusives... Where I live there of course aren't any GAME stores so...

    @Yinying - The first gameplay trailer was the PS3 version (you see button icons) and they tend to use the lead platform for the promo vids unless there other version some how looks better then they use that for promos but either way it's a good sign for the PS3 version of the game.

    Having said that I personally think the graphics look a bit dated, yes the face tech is great but it looks like it come at the cost of the rest of graphics all looks very flat.
