    The characters look far better in motion than they do in static screenshots

    This trailer doesn't make me want to buy it.
    Looks like a CGI movie, impressive - but i'll wait to see what the reviews say about the gameplay.

    Looks captivating to me... but review first, buy second. this embargo stuff bothers me, makes me think people have something to hide.

    I'm worried as I found that a bit more stilted than I was expecting - is this biting off more than it can chew?

    @Breach:

    Which part of "This trailer was made entirely from in-game footage" are you having problems with understanding?

    @MrTeatime

    All work is inspired from previous work. The developers have said they had a good amount of inspiration from LAC, just like RDR was inspired by several spaghetti western classics.

    Also, 'ser' is not something G.R.R. Martin came up with. He 'stole' it from someone else. Nothing wrong with that really.

    I dont care if its based on some particular film or tv show, as long as its good, and for me so far, from what i've seen its looks amazing. I cant be bothered to wait for reviews before getting it... will buy first read reviews later. Yes i know money is tight, but sometimes you just have to have some enthusiasm and excitement for a hobby... In my day it didnt matter if the game was tat, it was the belief that it would be the game you always wanted...

    Anyway, enough of me thinking of my spectrum days, I think this game will be great!

    Yeah, because LA Confidential was the first film noire wasn't it?....... no, it wasn't.

    I think if you look into what film noire is, you will realise that similarities between two 50s noire stories set in LA is no surprise. They are both based on the same source material, source material that has been around for decades. Its like complaining that Red Dead Redemption has just copied Tombstone, as if Tombstone invented the western genre.

    Being jaded about games in general I find it very difficult to look forward to a game, but this is standing out to me. I really hope all the elements work together because the game looks as interesting as any I have seen in a long time.
