Anyway, I don't really see a point to this video/demo. Surely it would be much easier and much more effective to use a regular controller?
Or if you do want to use Kinect, it would be much more impressive if you could use just one hand to control it. Point your hand/arm left or right to move it left or right, close your fist to just let it hover, stuff like that.

I agree it would be cooler if you just could do it with one hand but what is it to say this isn't just theirfirst version and that they will be able to make it better as they experient more.
I wish I was working/studying somewhere where I could be part of this as it just would be fun to see what you could come up with with the Kinnect (I guess I could do it myself at home but with small kids + full time work there isn't much tim)

Fair enough, and I do I fully agree it has a point for the people working on it. I'd love to be able to mess around with it myself. =)
I don't really see the point in Eurogamer posting it though...? I dunno, it just doesn't have that coolness factor for me personally that other Kinect hack videos do. (You can see a lot more impressive stuff just surfing around on YouTube, for instance.)

Do the users have to take into lag when flying the drone towards walls etc?

However, I do feel it's not as special as I would expect from a video posted to Eurogamer. There are Kinect hacks out there that seem more advanced and just are a bit smarter in general. Just my opinion...
