I really love how the KI 'franchise' has gone from obscure retro title with a reference in SSBros to a seemingly bullet-hell shooter. It's basically a new IP for many people too. More of this please Nintendo (minus awful dialogue)! Very interested to see this pans out both gameplay and sales wise. Most previews accept the controls have a huge learning curve, and a touch of RPGs to the gameplay. Given that n will prob still market this to 'casual' gamers I'm really interested to see if it can match the sales success of other big n franchises

Its an interesting one as a lot as people are put off by the controls and its cartoony style. I have a lot of faith in this as it was the first game to be shown for the 3DS at E3 and its made by the same people behind Smash Bros who understand the need for balance, variety and tons of content. Its not going to be just a run of the mill 3rd person shooter and the multiplayer will hopefully be a lot of fun.

I don't think it will sell well at first but if it gets good reviews and decent promotion (I think they are putting AR cards in with chocolate bars in Japan) it could be the start of a decent new series.

I fell in love with this the first time I saw it and it remain my most anticipated title for 3DS. Everything about it just oozes quality. It looks to be a very special game.

I really love Kid Icarus. I recently wiped the dust off my old NES cartridge and tried to play the game again. Damn it's hard !
But honestly i'm a bit skeptic about the trailer, looks more like Starfox than KI to me...
