Wonder if there's enough new content to warrant PSN owners also getting the SE version?

Nice. It's sad however that the game seems to not sell at all. Official forum is empty, leaderboards have like 1000 entries. Seems to be a really bad time to release a digital game in the crowded holiday season. IMO they should've gone for the spring or summer of arcde. I don't really care because the game only has local multiplayer and I don't need many players to compare scores with. But still it's a shame. Then again I remember the developer bitching about XBLA two years ago, saying it's hard to sell even 25.000 copies on XBLA and stuff like that. Maybe that came back to him. He seems to be a lost boy. A year ago he talked about being indebted to the PS3 crowd because they bought the game and allowed them to continue making games. And now he's like "sorry, you won't get the additional content of the 360 version. ever!". The guy sure knows how to piss off his audience.

Was my 100th XBLA game and it is great. Gripshift meets Trials HD.

new content: They say there are 50 additional levels in the game. I don't know if that is true, cause if it were then there haven't been a lot of levels in the PS3 version. I also remember the PS3 version having uploadable replays? Not in this version.

So PSN version won't be getting this either?

As a lover of both Trials and this game, I don't think they are anything alike.

I say it's a beautiful mix between Sonic and Tony Hawks Skateboarding...

I know it must be a pain for the PS3 players, and it is a bit of a kick in the teeth, but I you can't blame them for wanting to release multiplatform and get as much money as possible. I know if Red Lynx released PS3 exclusive levels I would be annoyed as an Xbox owner.

But the real villain here is MS, as it is they who won't allow a PS3/ Wii/ Steam exclusive release on XBLA unless their is additional content.

@andytheadequate That isn't the reason why PS3 owners are upset. Its that they're still charging $15 for the non-special edition on PSN, they aren't even entertaining the idea of adding some sort of Add-On to the PSN store with this new content for those who already own the game, and they are now releasing free DLC for the 360 version when they of course said they would not be patching anything into the PSN version.

@wattsn26 Who cares? Mass Effect 2 on PS3 got additional content that never made it to 360. Bioshock on PS3 had additional content that never made it to 360. And there are many more examples where it has been the same, both digitally and retail. Microsoft and Sony both have their rules that say you have to have additional stuff to release on their platform if it was once exclusive to the other. The real problem are developers that go exclusive. There really is no reason nowadays to do so. Look at game sales and you'll see that multiplatform games make most of the money.

This is great news. It was a great game on PSN but it's even better on XBLA, love it! Free DLC like this shows they care about their fans. :)

It was never set to be a PS3 exclusive anyway. As mentioned by Subdominator there has been lots of games previously exclusive to 360 that went over to PS3 with additional content and at a cheaper price but I'm yet to hear anyone bitch about it. Hydrophobia Prophecy was the latest example I can think of, yet people aren't demanding patches for the SE content as it's not OWED to us.

So get over it you Sony PS3 crybabies, even Hello Games called you all fanboys in the recent EG interview due to your embarrassing attitude.
