    Doesn't seem to have the same weight to the physics as Trials. I wonder how it holds up in the long run.

    Cool. Hope this comes out on live.

    @Poorandugly

    That is sort of like comparing mario gold to PGA Tour.

    And the peculiar implication on your post seems to be "greater mass of simulated objects = greater gameplay longevity".

    If I were super cynical, I might draw attention to Trials being on 360 and Danger being on PS3, and view your post with new eyes... but that would be silly of me no doubt ;)

    Fair point, but a fair physics engine is a big part of what makes games such as these fun for me. In the videos I have seen it seems that Joe weighs very little, resulting in a seemingly less exact control. I'm not saying that would be less fun, though!

    If you're comparing the relationship between Joe Danger and Trials to Mario Gold and PGA Tour then perhaps I was expecing the wrong thing. I was kind of hoping they'd both be PGA Tour =)

    After playing Joe Danger for about 80 minutes I can safely say controlling him is a delight, very responsive and has the correct feel of weight for a title of this nature.

    Looking forward to a demo on live then.. =)

    I agree completely, but for me a fair physics engine is a predictable one. That doesn't necessarily mean it will be realistic.

    P.s. I meant Mario Golf, not Gold :)

    Joe Danger and Trials HD are two very different title, as kangarootoo is correct to compare them with titles like Mario Golf and PGA Tour.

    I had a blast playing Joe Danger, its very cartoony and control is much so more easier as you have time to adjust and need not to be as anally precise as you need to be with Trials HD.

    That said, I admittly still 'miss' the moments of Trials HD's hair pulling and complete joy at getting past the tricky bits, and whereas in early levels of Joe Danger felt much more relaxing and fun ride. Which is no bad thing and sure the difficulty will ramps up later and with the creating your own levels and so friends can challenge you to some joypad throwing challenges!

    I also still yet to get far with Joe, and may get greater mileage the further I go and likely the challenges get ramped up!

    Looks like fun, I think I'll buy this later today.

    I've never played Trials HD - it's available in a PC version as well, isn't it? I seem to recall seeing it on Steam a while ago.

    I figured it was a cheap lager popular in parts of the Mushroom Kingdom. ;)

    @GamesConnoisseur

    Surely the challenge in Joe Danger is more in building your score to ridiculous levels through sheer well-timed awesomeness rather than simply getting to the end without vowing to track down the developer and brutally "insert" your controller into them like it is in Trials? :)

    By that I mean I think that you'll probably always be able to complete the levels but your scores may be mocked by the internet masses while in Trials I swore long and hard at unknown developers then just rage-quit.

    Look at Tom's scores for example, 139 million for this versus his puny 37 million earlier.
