Joan of Arc had quite a tough time of it. Despite leading assaults which lead to the re-capture of much of France for the heir of the French throne, Charles II, she was burned at the stake as a heretic. Just goes to show: never volunteer for anything.

I'm hoping it'll be a little like the Milla Jivoviwhatsername film of the same name. Not sure why I liked that film- probably owes a lot to the immortal lines: 'Oh Lord, if you spare Jeanne's life I promise never to swear again... but if you DON'T, you're the BIGGEST cocksuc-"
