Was it because of develpment costs? I am happy that the franchise lives on, but it's almost as if they are eliminating half the fanbase. That surely isn't the most sensible way to develop a franchise?
Also, I would rather have seen a new Skies of Arcadia or an indirect 'spiritual successor' with the same game-engine, similar control system.
Valkyria is my most enjoyable game of the gen, but the stoyline pretty much wrapped itself up nicely. Adding to it would probably take away from the epicness of the original VC.
