I Am Alive - E3 trailer

8 (3 ratings)

Ubisoft's disaster survival is a bit of dark horse at the moment, but this teaser has us intrigued. Plus it's the first press release which we've seen to use the term 'current gen', which seems eminently sensible.

The CGI is pretty terrible, but the concept looks extremely interesting. SOS: The Final Escape was great on the PS2, which offered something (apparently) similar.

Until it's announced for the PC, I'll keep pretending it looks like a cross between Lost: The Video Game and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, with the hero's face reminiscent of Dolph Lundgren's.
Now just say the magic words - here's a whispered cue :"PeeeCeee". Then I might add that it feels bloody intriguing.

SOS The Final Escape/Disaster Report with big budget production values. I'm definitely interested.

Interesting, enjoyed SOS The Final Escape, curious the way Ubisoft staff are evidently playing a lot of other peoples games and then drawing on them, just hope this is better designed than Assasin's Creed.

Irem game had a lot of strange humour in the game, the water in the trailer gives me hope this will too, even if it does look a bit too serious for my liking, pimp suits please!

Cloverfield minus the monster/s (hopefully) then.

Pump up the dead-city & survival atmosphere and keep guns out of it and I'm a certain buyer ...

Cloverfield minus the monster/s (hopefully)?

I don't understand. No disaster is complete without a giant monster! Or robot. :o)

Seriously though this does look interesting, Homogenous hero aside (why do they always look the same these days?).

I AM BORED. When will the aliens/comets strike upon an unheard of village in the equatorian jungle? I'd buy that.
