Okay, the visuals are not really impressing but hopefuly the game is.
Although it was stated that it offers 7-8 hrs of game time.
Thats kind of sad. Just when you learned how you can survive it will be probably be over :S

but hey, let's not judge it yet. I'm still looking forward to it.

    What a beautifully jerky video...

Anyway, the fact that you can threaten people with your weapons and get them to back down is nice and novel. And the whole 'The Road' vibe still has me hooked.

Certainly looking forward to this. After the glidey/brawly Batman I need an TPS more akin to Alan Wake. May have had a tricky dev period but I remain hopeful.

No pc? Why I see this under PC section then?

on PS2/xbox there was a reservoir dogs game that had a really satisfying "threaten" mechanic where you could kind of shepherd hostages. I'm surprised I've not seen it since.

I've been looking forward to this for a good while, I'm gonna get a lot of gametime loading previous saves to see how each situation plays out differently, also, I love challenging exploration and given that I have 30 odd bucks of giften PSN credit, I really can't wait to get a release date on this.

Looking forward to Trine 2 as well though, if it ever releases over here..

Looks promising. With all the survival horror type games being made lately for downloadable platforms, it's made me think that's actually how I want them to be. Games can look too good these days and therefor less scary; because really it was the low-poly models, low-res textures and poor draw distances of the PS1/2*-era games that made games like Silent Hill so good.

With games being downloable, although they do still look fine (say what you want about Amy, that games pretty nice looking graphically), they inadvertantly have a throwback to the grimier look those PS1 and 2 games had. Which is perfectly welcome to me.

I Am Alive is so far looking way more action-based than survival horror, but I hope to see more stuff in this genre develop in downloadable form and we end up with a truly good and frightening horror game. Might have another gem like Siren Blood Curse on our hands in that case.

*Although at the time they looked fine, obviously.
