Hot Shots Golf 5 - Trailer

Published 27 April, 2007 Duration 1:55

Hot Shots Golf sadly has a Charlie Sheen factor of zero, but looks entertaining nonetheless. Although it doesn't look like it'll stretch the PS3's computing power too far, hopefully the clean, fresh style will continue the good record of the series.

The first AAA title for the PS3 from my perspective.

I  the music and the simple but effective visuals; it makes Tiger Woods and Wii Sports look very dull in comparison.

I agree, I already own 3 Everybody's Golf games, but this is still the first game that really makes me want a PS3.

    I frickin' love 'em.

The online modes on this game look great 50 in a lobby 8 going for one whole simultaneously (which will be mayhem mind you and could make or break the game), and it's single player aspect seems to keep to what was in the PSP version.

    Thank you very much. :)

its is bad when you think that a low key title like this is the only title to make people want a ps3. dont get me wrong i think these games are great but it is low key when you think of the non japanese market. this and blu-ray playback are the only things that make me want a ps3...sony will just have to keep waiting for my money.

Can't say the Blu Ray thing really excites me.

This game does though. Still not going to fork out 600quid to play the thing though. Hopefully there'll be a PSP version too - Sony are keen to build closer ties between PS3 and PSP - this could be one way.

Mario Golf (GBA / GC) was a decent attempt.

The online play looks like it's been improved. Hope there's enough allowance for customisation this time round. Always felt the multiplayer options on the PSP version were a bit limited.
