Home - Media And Events Space

Having put so much focus on Home as a unifying lobby for games, events and socialising, Sony is starting to deliver on its promises. This here is an example of how future events can be covered in real time for thousands of users with a virtual rerun of the PlayStation day. How terribly self referential.

Looks pretty but seems to have some nasty tearing.

Sure they'll iron it out for final release. Unlike *cough* Uncharted.

looks really good, and we all have to remember it's FREE, all these cocks complaining about it not being an xbox live beater are right but they are forgeting one vital thing, money, sony dont ask any ps3 users to pay for the right to play online which is what i respect about them, especialy for the people that have to maintain the service.
@ dr_shambles did uncharted have bad tearing? i never noticed much at all, what tv do you use ?

I find it all a little unnecessary to be honest. When i want to play online, i don't want to have to run around a virtual world ala' Second life or any of that jazz.

Yeah, wallpaper if you ask me... as if second life wasn't crap enough...
