Love the new style, TF was never about realism in the first place, this has just given it a massive boost of personality and charm.

    Still Portal eh? Mental.

    :D

I'm sitting here in the office with a big, stupid smile on my face - that's the power of Valve.

First Portal, now TF2. Bring it on!

    Yeah, looks interesting!!!

Portal is cool but Prey has portals so no massive WoW from me! Still cool tho

Thats the first things thats ever got me remotely interested in anything Half-Life related.

It looks awesome. Now if only they could build a single player version I'd be sorted.

a lot of the characters look like they are wearing nazi armbands or something

anyway, love the new style, reminds me of the incredibles or evil genius
  • symmetry #7 6 years ago

Not entirely sure about the style of it, seems very "Incredibles". Which isn't a bad thing normally...
  • Universal_Hamster #8 6 years ago

Cool! It looks like the incredibles! Even down to the music!
However, this does prove my theory of "Black demolitions expert"
  • NthSimulachum #9 6 years ago

True, they should have an indian demo expert or a change. And an inuit protagonist.

Love it. May I already preorder it? :D

Awesome!! It looks just like Prey!

    Gah!

    :D

Thank you Valve! This looks fantastic - I was worried they'd try to do it the way they had planned a few years ago, when TF2 was still being discussed.

    OMG

This has taken away ALL interest I had in this game since it was announced over 5 years ago.

The video of it before were SOO much better. It was like CS military style... now its a cartoon kids game.

Oww well to each his own. Portal stuff looks awesome tho....

  • Universal_Hamster #14 6 years ago

Actually, smoison is right, if there is one thing the PC definitely needs more of, its realistic military shooters.

    Twat

    Great stuff!

There's enough "realistic" shooters out there so I'm glad they went this route.

As long as they keep the enticing gameplay this will be on top of my list to get.

    pwned! :D

this looks great... I bet that map was 2fort ... bridge in the middle, over water.. sniper was up on the battlements near the top respawn room I think.

They didn't show the engies sentry gun :(

Because Cell Shadeing made Zelda soo much better.....

And you seem like a swell guy Universal Hamster, You have english hospiltality oozing out of you.
  • Azazel #18 6 years ago

    This looks very cool.

And I think the choice of visual asthetic sets it apart from games like CS and DoD in a good way, because Team Fortress was never that kind of game and I wouldn't want it to be.
  • Chtulie #19 6 years ago

Cell shading was actually perfect for the tone of Wind Waker.

And rtegarding this one, it seems that the spirit of No One Lives Forever still, er, lives on.
  • Universal_Hamster #20 6 years ago

Zelda was helped by the change in visual style as it allowed the characters to be much more expressive. (It was marked down because of the over-use of sailing and how short it was, I beleive)
I honestly cant imagine how anyone could be put off by this graphical style. I just hope the characters move that well in-game.

Oh yes, and I'm not English.

Wooopwooop, can't want to conc jump entire maps again. :D Sweeeet.

I'd quite like someone to make a persistant world version of Science & Industry. Bigger maps, extended classes and tech trees, multiple companies and servers reset regularly.
