Hitman - Movie Trailer

Published 5 July, 2007 Duration 1:44

Agent 47 is following the footsteps of other gaming luminaries and making the leap from small screen to silver. This brief trailer doesn't give much away in terms of plot, beyond what you can probably already guess, but it's pretty all the same.

Much though I like Olyphant, I'm not at all convinced at him playing 47. He just looks too...sweet in the trailer. Not gaunt enough.

Should've stuck with David Bateman, but I suppose no-one's heard of him and Olyphant's a rising star.

I'll remain cautiously optomistic for the moment. It could still supplant Silent Hill as the best ever game to movie adaptation (although that's probably not saying much).

Never thought Mr Hitman was supposed to protect us from evil. Thought he was in it for the cash.

Well, FWB, Hitman 2 did lay on the "my purpouse is to smite down evil" theme pretty thick, as I recall it.

    irrelevant sex scene, why??

kinda distracts from the cold hearted killer thing

maybe he doesn't go through with it......look around enough on the internet and you will find answers

I have a feeling that this will go down "The Transporter" route i.e. setting up an interesting character with motivations and "rules" and then throwing that all out the window.

Also its gonna be missing the main thing that people play the Hitman games for, unintentional humour. No clothes swapping, no comedy deaths, no ragdoll :p

Speaking of The Transporter wouldn't Jason Statham have been a good choice for 47, his head at least looks about right from the back.

OMG I remember dressing up as the waiter! :D They've lifted scenarios from the game and put them in the film. OMFG! :D WOW!

    Great trailer!

bloody lex luthor from smallville would be better than that guy. or richard o'brian from Crystal Maze. or that guy from Right Said Fred. and thats before we get onto actors with hair!
