Halo Wars was rather conspicuous by its absence at last night's Microsoft conference, perhaps courtesy of the game's new 2009 release date. Ensemble hasn't been idle, however, as this lovely trailer indicates.

ouch, cheesy as fuck.
Plus some ridiculous set-pieces, this is a real throwback to the bad days of design and storyboarding; 'how 2 make wor look cool'.
At least the game itself looks fun.
Please leave trailers to Blaukamp kids.

whats even the point in CGI game trailers, they tell you NOTHING about the game you wouldnt already know...
(And thats nothing to do with because its halo, its because this is about the ninth trailer ive seen today which is pre rendered with no gameplay shown)
