I cant take Halo characters seriously...they all walk as if they've just stepped of a horse.

Plus that trailer...I've watched more convincing and intriguing sci-fi based porn movies.

I have very, very high hopes for this game and even though it seems you have to hate the game in order to comment, I can't help doing so anyway. Sorry for being all happy and shit, but this games just make me just that

@Spekingur: It looks much better than Halo 3, but come on. If you compare it to other console exclusives like Uncharted 2 this is a bit stale. And yes, I'm still looking forward to playing it. But no, this isn't impressive AT ALL.

Uncharted 2 can't put 60 AI characters on screen. Bungie spend their budget where it matters: sandbox design, big,open levels, lots of unscripted happenings, large-scale encounters, and enemy AI.

It's why their games are endlessly replayable when so few others are.

"Curious. Hyper-lethal. There's only one other Spartan with that rating" May be the single worst thing I've ever heard. Never has a trailer tried so hard to ruin a great looking game for me. I'm completly sold on Reach and really looking forward to it, but this trailer seems like a joke edited together from previous clips. Loads of cheesy lines and fan-project voice acting. Come on guys! This game should be leaping from the screen like a massive summer blockbuster!

Dead cheesy. But that's what I like about Halo. Some of the best core gameplay mechanics of any game I've played as well. Totally agree with Yossarian, endlessly replayable.

The woman narrating is Dr Halsey, who created the SPARTAN project. She's most likely talking to Auntie Dot, an AI making its first appearance in Reach.

As much as I love Halo, I have to say, that trailer is a bit shitty. The last one was way better. The voiceover is incredibly cheesey, the attempted characterisations fairly cliched and no real gameplay footage.

I'm still looking forward to release day though.

I cant fault the trailer, because the fans of it are lapping it up, so that would suggest its on the nail, even if i personally dont get it.

On another note, anyone else think the voice over sounded in structure like something out of Lord of the Rings...? (or was it just me)
