Didnt like the start, thought it looked too hard to kill the aliens but i really liked all the things going on in the background (ships flying around etc)... and the going from ground to ship (like SW BattleFront) was really cool.

Did the trailer at E3 actually show playable space 'dogfighting' sections? I wasn't 100% sure, I thought it was all still part of the cutscene :/ If they are playable, that's pretty darned cool, injects a bit of variety into a game that's at risk of becoming a little stale.

The visuals have had a MAJOR update since the beta. Game looks incredible.

but how much was ingame? gears 3 had ingame... looked nice. and cod also ingame... but not halo(he did say it was ingame footage...). hmm just odd why he didnt have it set up.

It seems to have an intensity in the combat that seems to have been missing from the Halo sequels - looked silent cartographer-esque in places and the combat seems a bit more exciting.

And, SPACE COMBAT!

Why aren't more devs making space comabt games? I mean, FFS, give us massive capital ships shooting the living crap out of each other whilst I dodge laser fire and take down enemy fighters in HD. Now.
