These videos are set in the future of Halo by about 50 years I think.

Good advert. There is no denying that the theme of Halo 3 adverts is to make Master Chief a mascot. I think it is all fine, Nintendo has several (SMB, Zelda), Sega has one (Sonic), Sony tried once (Jak & Daxter) and hell why should anyone critisize Microsoft for trying to make one.

It takes place right before the start of Halo 3. I'm very impressed with how it looks pretty much like a million dollar budget war movie

I second the comment about props...surely you'd think the vehicles in that hanger will be part of the film.

The old guy was great and I think GitSomE UKhit it spot on about him not liking to hold an enemy weapon.
