I personally think they are going to release new content for Halo 3 but at a premium price. The "Halo 3" is a bit weird if it has nothing to do with updating Halo 3.

Speculation I've got going is that's where Regret's ship jumps out of New Mombasa in Halo 2, and these are ODSTs being dropped in to clean up while the Chief is doing his thing on Delta Halo.

Think that might be bang on the money... I think it's gonna be a squad game tackling Covenant in urban locations, a sorta Halo-meets-GRAW.

Only question I have is about the dodgy AI "Superintendant"... wonder what that's about...?

This trailer excites me, and I don't even like Halo 3 or own a working 360. Very interested to see exactly what this turns out to be.

Possibly set on Reach? I bet it’s a halo prologue, cant say I’m sold on the design of the buildings and "spacey" looking future cars either. It all looks really un-detailed. But hey ill still buy it.

If it is a squad based halo game set during or after halo 2, then im sorry, im just not interested. i want to see a new 3D engine from bungie, not some half assed squad thing running on the old tech. remember the jump from halo to halo 2? i want to see bungie really push the 360.

No guys, it's obviously the extremely limited diamond deluxe collectors edition of Halo 3 with an extra bonus documentary DVD explaning why they hadn't enough time to make some decent visual upgrades in the first place.

If they actually bring out another Halo game with this engine they've finally proven Bungie is just a one-trick-pony.
Unless it's a free christmas gift. Then they're brilliant and nice, and beautiful and, and, and....oh, come on. Let's be realistic: this is going to be a disappointment.

How is it pathetic? It was like a 12 hour countdown, not something going on for days, and it's a teaser trailer for some new project supposedly coming out in January (from a date people have found in it). I've seen people wait longer and harder for less from the likes of Blizzard or whoever.

If you read the description of the video on XboxLive, you'd know that this is a new singleplayer campaign for Halo 3...so DLC it is...but I am mildly excited about this...
