    When the animators where screwing around, one guy kicking the other guy who was lying on his back, I couldn't help but immediately think: MASSIVE DAMAGE

    Are those the actual in-game graphics ? I hope they're just placeholders because they seem seriously underwhelming

    I hope Gears of War isn't the best we'll see on the 360 this generation

    Naw gears just used better shaders and more thought in the environments.

    Sadly Bunji mucked up halo 2 by paying less attention to environments and more to the weapons. Result was an obscured view of the battle just so that we could see detailed weaponry!

    They have started believing their own hype I fear and are siimply trying to give the gaming public more of the same. Lets face it Brutes could never replace the elegance of an elite. If the elites are allies after realising that the halos would wipe them out just as they would their enemies, then the trailer is probably more an elite escort to earth and not some invasion!

    Well at least that puts things in perspective. An aliance to stop the brutes remote activating all the halos from the arc!

    Hmm looks like Halo3 may actually apologise for the lame Halo2... looks pretty good.

    Wasn't just weapons with Halo 2 the backdrops were cack...remember flying into the city and just before you crashed you saw a totally flat horizon with no detail... cack! Even Doom back in the early 90's understood you have to demonstrate some terrain.

    I loved Halo I just hope Halo 3 doesn't disappear up its own arse the way 2 did.

    The elites do realise what the halo's do but still think that humans should be eradicated.

    Man i cant believe that you guys/girls are saying the graphics are crap. Bungie have said they are not finished graphics.

    Horrible colors, just like in Halo 2. What are they thinking? I guess this caters to the Babylon 5 crowds out there and all the people who are stuck in the 80s. And that fur technique has to be a joke.

    Oh well, it's not my game anyway.

    OK. I don't give a fuck what happens really with Halo 3 story. They've all been whack - just templates for the glorious multiplayer. PLEASE bungie make this the be-all-and-end-all of online combat.
