The YourTube video of this on Kotaku claims to be 7:18 so we may be missing a chunk. I couldn't be bothered to watch it again to see what it was though...

Must say, I was skeptical before as to whether or not that Halo trailer was in any way representative of what the finished playable game will look like. And while I still feel that the processing power required for stuff like AI and the like will reduce the graphics ever so slightly..........let's just say that I'm now a believer. The way they manipulated the camera, and swivelled around the video in real time has left me in doubt that we were seeing the gameplay engine at work there. Can't wait for Christmas 2007 now!

Thanks, it's now fixed. Not quite sure how that happened.

X-Box whores - the whole lot! I remember them bragging about how cool Halo would be on the PC, it looked cool, I was eagerly expecting it, and then they sold themselfes to Microsoft - I will never forget that! When I read Gabes interview on HL2 - Episode 1 and HL2 and the future, he said something about it being easy to crank out tech-demos and showreels, but it being very difficult and time consuming to actually build a game around the engine. And if you are honest with yourself, what do we see in this trailer? 1 highly detailed marine, a few low poly ship models, probably used the same way Source uses the skybox, and a lot of HDR. That's it. It might be the engine that's creating the image, but it's not a game. I am not impressed.

Only reason why this game won't be best game 2007 is because it won't be released on PC... I dont know about any other countries but here i see everyone having a high level PC but like 1 person out of thousand has a xbox aswell..

Very big loss, atleast release it to PC some time later :/

@Liuskur - You are wrong, PC gamers don't take near as kindly to Halo as the Xbox gamers do. There are simply better FPS's for the PC. I do still want to play this though, and would love it if it was released on PC, only not 2 years later like Halo 2. :/
