    Well at least it's not brown. Or overly grey.
    Still dare I say 'meh'?
  • Eraysor #2 3 years ago

    Looking awesome, apart from that narrator sounding horrendously boring.
  • carlitoswagon #3 3 years ago

    'Meh' would about sum it up for me too. Don't feel any urge to jump on this bandwagon.
  • penhalion #4 3 years ago

    I genuinely have no interest in this game. In fact I've gone off all things Halo since no.3.

    Maybe they just need to give the franchise a nice rest. Like Nintendo do with Zelda from time to time.
  • captainrentboy #5 3 years ago

    I think the quality of the graphics are quite a lil jump ahead of Halo 3's, which is nice, the lighting and textures look a lot better. It's just a shame it'll only be like 3 hours long. And as I hardly ever play MP anymore, 30+ is a lil steep.
  • mukki #6 3 years ago

    nice but ya the color scheme is a bit lamooo

    still I like it

    "It's just a shame it'll only be like 3 hours long."

    Er... did I miss something here? As far as I was made aware from recent previews of the game, it's going to be a full length effort because it just kept getting bigger and bigger during development.

    I'm looking forward to this game and will be interested to see how it plays compared to the Bungie-made Halo games.

    @rentboy

    3 hrs long? no - that's your afternoon client.
  • The-Bodybuilder #10 3 years ago

    Graphics = Lame
    Music = Great
    Characters showing thier face = Gives them personality
    Length= Hmmmmm
    Price= Heck no

    Purchase? Hmmmmmm.
  • The-Bodybuilder #11 3 years ago

    @XdarXideX
    Yeah, you've missed something big time. It aint as long as normal FPSs, let alone halo's 10 hours.
    Sounds like you swallowed the MS hype.
  • XdarXideX #12 3 years ago

    @Bodybuilder

    Have you not read any of the previews/hands-on features on the game?

    I'm not swallowing hype. I've barely shown an interest in the game until now. So stop before you start being a cock for no reason again.

    EDIT: From Eurogamer's own hands-on...

    During the gameplay presentation, Microsoft said it will be "massive...probably bigger than the campaigns in other FPS titles available today", but later, Crosby admits: "it won't be, in my mind as long [as Halo 3] to play through. If you play through and go really quickly, it won't be as long as Halo 3 in terms of hours, but it is big and it's full. There's a full story told in there."

    3 hours hey?

    It still boggles the mind as to why people who don't like Halo bothered commenting in the myriad of Halo articles we've had recently.

    If you don't care about the game, don't waste your time?

    Looks good to me. Can't wait to get back into the 4 player co-op runs, which I'll probably do a good few times as the experience always changes.

    Looking forward to all the new multiplayer maps too - plus it'll be nice for everyone to have all the previously released map packs too. I'm still loving Sandbox and it's many Bungie and player made configurations. I forsee many more hours of custom fun. \o/

    Sorry, some people here are just stupid (not aimed at you Xdar).
    If I came across as a "cock", then I apologise, as that was never my intention.
    I find it funny that I'm getting negative feedback of my first comments, which where far and my opinion. If there's anything more annoying than stupid people who are relentless in attacking halo for no good reason, its equally stupid people who feel that if anyone says anything AT ALL negative of halo, they must be "halo haters".

    Get off your high horse people. Halo is one of my fav games of all time, I really like halo 2 (until you left earth) but I was dissapointed with Halo3. However, not once have I ever claimed to say I don't like halo 3 in any thread. I'm not one of those that has to constantly and relentlessly tell the world how dissapointed I was with Halo 3.

    I was looking forward to this when it was marketed as an expansion pack (which it is), I'm just now very annoyed that MS are not trying to pitch it as a full game, when it really is just an expansion pack (I only care for the single player, so 6 hours of gameplay for full price doesn't do it for me).
    And my first comment is far. It is ugly looking, but they seem to be more willing to give the ODSTs character, rather than just being faceless space marines, which is a good thing.
  • XdarXideX #17 3 years ago

    That's fair enough I suppose and yes, it is a bit stupid to take any negative as a hate campaign against the game. But it's too early at this point to tell how long the game is really going to be or if it's going to be worth the full price of £39.99 (or whatever). But as Halo games go (in my opinion anyway) they don't always look as good as other games before them, but they are always extremely fun and surprisingly engaging. Hence my excitement.

    But like I said, I'll be interested to see how the gameplay turns out compared to Bungie's efforts. So far, it looks quite fun to me!
  • WinterSnowblind #18 3 years ago

    Good job no where is selling the game for full price though. Most sites had it up for £25 but have now bumped it up to £30.

    Still a lot better than Modern Warfares £55, and personally, I know I'll get a lot more play time out of ODST.
  • CHAZBIGPOTATO #19 3 years ago

    Ahhh, The pistol zoom returns at last! All is well, all is well.
  • Physically_Insane #20 3 years ago

    any trailer with Mal narrating = win
  • RedSparrows #21 3 years ago

    The gameplay will be as yumz as ever. I really wanna see Firefight too.
  • banjocube #22 3 years ago

    Re Eraysor: am i the only one who noticed that the voices are that of the Firefly team, how can you say narration by Nathan Fillion is boring, and having Adam Baldwin in your team not super cool.
  • Xerx3s #23 3 years ago

    I can't believe people say that it looks ugly. Looks fucking oke to me.
  • BBIAJ #24 3 years ago

    @XdarXideX & The Bodybuilder:

    Why do you question how this might compare to Bungie's efforts? As far as I was aware, this is being made by Bungie, yes?

    It was presented by Joseph "Bungie Writer/voice of the Grunts" Staten at E3, and no mention was made of a third-party developer being involved.
  • XdarXideX #25 3 years ago

    Oh really? To be honest, I don't quite know how I got the impression it was being developed by another team.
  • Dizzy #26 3 years ago

    Looks great. Can't wait.
  • Acornhead! #27 3 years ago

    Looks great but it could have really done some mo-cap, the cutscenes look a bit... dare I say it...last-gen.
  • mc_mclovin #28 3 years ago

    @xdar....this game is being developed by Bungie! as is halo:reach.

    wasnt overly excited by this to be fair, though this vid is actually pretty cool(mainly the voiceover being done by Nathan fillion (of serenity fame) so def gonna keep a closer eye on this one from now on!
  • SaberEdge #29 3 years ago

    Nathan Fillion FTW! I can't wait for this game.
