You're right - the marketing of Rock Band is a lot better nowadays.

I fondly remember the GH2 ad with the big bloke trying to play Spinal Tap and looking like an idiot - the good kind of idiot though compared with this one.

I agree, Activision are a bit worried I think. I recall seeing a dev interview montage that EG put together at some show (asking each dev the same questions back to back). The GH guy seemd a lot more defensive and on the back foot, whereas the Rb dev just seemed calmly confident in their product.

Of course, that all counts for nothing if GHWT is awesome. At this stage though, its hard to tell. GH cost Activision a lot of money and I guess they may be mildly concerned that they bought the wrong bit (the name, instead of the devs that made the name what it is).
