If anyone's interested in this story, I recommend picking up 'Ghosts of Ascalon', a novel written in the Guild Wars 2 universe which directly explores this part of the narrative. Great stuff, can't wait for GW2!

I'm real glad they referenced back to the first part of the GW1 story. Ascalon was a great place and to have more of its history (which is the history we experienced as the present)

Well, maybe I'm just getting old but even though the look of this is cool...this whole
"THE KING AND HIS KINGDOME AND HIS SOLDIERS blah blah AND WE ARE HUGE ASS DOGS THAT CAN SPEAK AND WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK blablah"
I remember actually enjoying things this a few years ago. In fact I loved every bit out of Guild Wars. But it just seems stupid now :S
