Most pointless DLC ever would be more appropriate who's going to care 10 months after the game was released?
  • Kyledanutmeg #4 3 years ago

dsmx atleast its not just after the game is released and make you pay for it as well
  • hiddenranbir #5 3 years ago

So...more motorbikes in Liberty City huh?

When for PC...which I know I'll have to pay for cause of this stupid lock with Games for Windows LIVE.

That is the best trailer for anything to do with GTA IV I've seen.

I wasnt going to bother with the game for a while since there will be so much to catch up on when I buy a 360 but if this downloadable content shapes up as good as that trailer makes out(which looked more like a film trailer), I might just go for a bit of that. Thats only providing its good content at a good price, who other than bitter Sony fanboys would complain about that?

Wow, "dead embryonic cells" by sepultura... Great music choice, I hadn't heard that track since like 1994. Great trailer, as usual with rockstar, but i think i'll pass unless they bring something really new in terms of mission design .

This is what DLC should be: an actual expansion to the game, like the Shivering Isles. it shouldn't be fixing bugs because the devlopers are to lazy to do it beforehand (recent example is GOW2 multiplayer) or some crap they leave out the main game so they can charge you more monies (again GOW2 with the new maps). I know it's cool to hate GTA but at least Rockstar make an effort unlike many developers.

Heh, well the trailer can't have had THAT much of an impact on me: I just watched it, thinking I hadn't seen it before, only to find this comment below!

For $50million, they best be bothered......
I'm sure epic would be more bothered for that price too.
  • dsmx #10 3 years ago

    I don't have a ps3, so lol at you.

The only people who would care at this point are hardcore GTA fans and possibly PC players who have just got the game. The people who microsoft were trying to attract with that fabled DLC will of moved onto other games now. Which leaves microsoft paying 50 mill that possibly million people will want.

Just not seeing what the big deal is.

I still don't like the Vampire twist. GTA is about real world crime. Not supernatural blood suckers.

    You mean 1 Million.

  • mazzl #14 3 years ago

    @M83J01P97 nope.. 50 mil.
hope they do make this more FUN, this trailer looks very serious again... i was hoping for some more slapstick. but i'll probably get it.

oh god, slapstick can FUCK OFF
  • kangarootoo #17 3 years ago

    @WillyWanka

RockStar are still getting paid. But they are getting paid by MS instead of directly by us (when I say us, I mean whoever gets this, as I won't be).

And what is this about Vampires?
  • Max_Powers #18 3 years ago

This will be a highly profitable download and it looks great. A good excuse to return to Liberty City. Quality work from Rockstar and Microsoft as always.
  • IneptPercy #19 3 years ago

I didn't get to the end of GTAIV first time so I have been playing it again.

This looks like a great twist on it, I will be buying it.
  • miiiguel #20 3 years ago

Are ppl now worried/mocking MS for spending money? I thought they have plenty... to spend or to spoil. Whatever it's their money not mine, and I can't joke with the spending of on the the biggest companies in the world, sounds silly compared to my bank account.

Anyway, this looks pretty good, and I'll sure get it.

That actually looks really good. Much more comprehensive than most DLC offerings.

Did I see a grenade launcher!!
  • SEVQA #25 3 years ago

Lol 50 million $ and thats it! I would have expected like a Back to the future mod or somthing more than bike missions. At least its Microsoft that gets screwd for once.
  • GamesConnoisseur #26 3 years ago

We dont know the actual terms of the contract for £50 million or so, but leaving that aside, this trailer indeed is the best I have seen anything to do with GTA4! Good idea to plant a new story, characters in the same city and reuse everything but with new perspective.

    Looking forward to the DLC!
