This is what dlc should be not some costumes for £1.59 each, i know whihc i will be paying for..

Oh by the way thres about 2gb of new content in the download, new tracks, gamemodes, character, vehicles, guns..

There's very little shown in that video clip that couldn't have been recreated through the PC viedo editor.
It didn't show any new vehicles or guns in that clip. Funny.

Puppy: it showed the new shotgun and I think the grenade launcher (not sure, I thought you saw it without being fired).

Anyway looks awesome. Day 1 for me.

JESUS. Welcome Sony fanboys. Try looking at the official site before you whinge. More of absolutely everything; an official parallel plot strand 1/3 the length of the main game (and another like it which also crosses with this to follow), 7 extra multiplayer modes, loads of extra TV, Internet and radio...

Oh, I wish I could buy me 9 sackboy costumes instead of that rubbish...
  • PuppyFiddler #8 3 years ago

moribundman how about you stick your fanboy comments back where they belong.
Going solely by the video they released to show off this new content there is nothing new to it worth jumping up and down about. Maybe they should have released a better video but that there does not get me excited because I can do all of that or 99% of it right now - aside from the story obviously.

    "...aside from the story obviously"

Which is exactly why everyone will be buying it!

Talk about missing the point much.

I guess it must suck to be a PStriple only owner right now huh?

"I guess it must suck to be a PStriple only owner right now huh?"

It probably would, but I'm not planning on giving up my PC any time soon; they complement each other v. nicely.

Re the comparisons with LBP - I agree that paying for costumes is dumb. BUT, there is the MGS download which doesn't just give you new types of things but also gives you a game-changing whole new thing!

On topic though, this does look rather good.

I am not a big GTA fan but I think it looks ace.

People complaining how you only get a new bike and a couple of guns are damn idiots who deserve lashings. It's a whole single player experience!
  • Moribundman #13 3 years ago

(Patiently) No, Puppyfiddler, going entirely by that trailer they do not individually tag and document each new feature one by one.

Practically everywhere else on the internet where there have been previews of this DLC, there is extensive coverage of the widespread features added.

Please see my previous post without red mist in front of your eyes for an update. That is if you still can't bear to read a preview in an Xbox exclusive section of Eurogamer...
  • PuppyFiddler #14 3 years ago

lol if you think I'm bothered....you're the one who is clearly bothered and upset. Only fanboys truely get upset.
  • Moribundman #15 3 years ago

I don't think you're bothered at all. I'm sure you're beavering away creating your easily imitated DLC in the PC video editor.

    Good for you kid!

I'm actually happy to guess that this will eventually be out on the PC and PS3 and that MS have spent their money on *a period* of exclusivity (and vagueness) rather than full exclusivity.

Still, nobody outside MS and R* can be sure of that, so MS have got all the "must haves" by the balls. Once the DLC starts to become yesterday's news they'll release it.
  • PuppyFiddler #16 3 years ago

I think you'll find this "must have" will sell pretty poorly as a lot of people didn't even finish GTA4 and a lot more didn't think much of GTA4 to begin with.
Personally I think GTA4 is great but even I haven't finished it and this doesn't interest me inthe slightest especially going by that video which is supposedly there to get people excited and it's failed with me. Now don't cry about that moribundman it's just the way things are.

Oh just go to http://www.rockstargames.com/thelostandd... which answers every single one of your questions.

Since Puppyfiddler just seems to be angling for something to whinge about here, I suggest he takes it up with Rockstar.

    (jiggyjogger please be joking)
