@JDub: Fastest as in round a track, rather than straight line. F1 cars don't have the straight line speed of a Veyron, but still lap considerably faster.

They should allow cars like this in F1. If you weren't dependent on aerodynamics to generate all your downforce, that would surely make overtaking more possible?

mmmmhhh... Not sure what I think about this... It's a bit embarrassing to talk about an imaginary car in this way. Typical Kazunori babble I think.

To hark on about this great (imaginary) car just days after 'cocking up' the release date and not confirming a new release date is just plain stupid! It's as though all GT5 fans will just accept a few new videos and concept car promises in place of a shiny new GT5 disk to slip into our PS3's.

Well that's my 2 pence worth anyway.

IIRC (I can't be bothered to check) the land speed record is still held by the Thrust SSC @ ~650mph, the same guy who lead that team (Richard Noble) is currently leading the Bloodhound project which is aiming to break the 1000mph barrier.
