they must mean 90% of the remaining unfinished parts are complete. and of that 90% only 90% is complete, and so it will never really be complete at all?!
anyway looks bloody ready to me, if it really isn't someone should probably meantion that whole patches and dlc thing to them, that way we might get a disc this year ...
  • o_ci2007 #3 2 years ago

90%, what has that guy been up to. Too much time smoking and trying to balance his big head and being burdened by his over sized ego. Bring this s@*t out now please, please, please, please, please. Dont bother too much with 3d for now, sell it later as an expansion pack or something.

despite a nice trailer...my excitement about this game will probably decrease over 90% in the time its taking them to complete 10%
  • Ryboy #5 2 years ago

Fucking abysmal trailer. Where is the HD?

Trailer is a bit dry and sterile. Needs a bit more directing.
  • georgebr #8 2 years ago

Hey Eurogamer, aren't you supposed to be neutral? The 90% comment is out of place, you're only fueling fanboyism by doing that.

This is not the actual E3 2010 trailer, it'll debut on Tuesday as stated in the official PS blog.
  • Mosphaiti #9 2 years ago

Anyone else thinking this really doesnt live up to the hype. As a few wise men have pointed out in this already, where's an HD trailer. Cant see this taking me away from Forza 3, which i dont really play too much now due to how much fun im having on Blur! Still, lets wait and see if this ever comes out.
  • GitSomE_UK #10 2 years ago

You know what? It's taken so long I really don't give a toss about this anymore.
  • georgebr #11 2 years ago

Again, this is NOT the E3 2010 trailer. You'll see it this Tuesday.
  • Spekingur #12 2 years ago

What this video needs more of is a bit of rickrolling...

    'NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN!'

"Hey Eurogamer, aren't you supposed to be neutral? The 90% comment is out of place, you're only fueling fanboyism by doing that."

Yeah, curse all those Xbox fanboys who can't wait for this PS3 game to come out already...
  • o_ci2007 #14 2 years ago

"how much fun im having on Blur" so true. Blur scores highly for fun factor and 1/10 for realism, I think/hope GT5 should score highly on both counts . GT5 was going to be the most fun game I play this year, I am not so sure anymore on two counts 1) it comes out next year and 2) with my ultra high expectations it turns out to be very good but not brilliant.
  • jag10 #15 2 years ago

    @MattDamon

well for starters you won't need to buy a DLC pack every month for a few cars. i guess some people are happy paying full price for half a game though.
  • Turbotim3 #16 2 years ago

If you are a car guy or girl you will like this game. If you want to know what it would feel like to walk into a car dealership and drive a particular car then you will like this game. If you are a whining little bitch then you will not like this game

    "A new revolution is coming...

I admire you for your optimism on that release year, but I guess we need to stay positive :p.

    Nice choice of song there.
  • coolbritannia #20 2 years ago

Who is voting up Jag10? Forza 3 is so complete I can't get to the end. His comment is beyond stupid. I guess some people are happy to pay for 2 full games while just waiting endlessly for the promise of one....

i'm still waiting to see a real driving sim that can beat GT3 or Gt4 funny how there still awesome looking games compaired to the current rubbish out there atm

forza3 is'nt much of a step up compaired to gt4 graphic wise and all the forza games have had horrble driving mechanics. horrble i tell you.
  • JasonB81 #22 2 years ago

Sorry, after all this time, not impressed anymore.

"i'm still waiting to see a real driving sim that can beat GT3 or Gt4 funny how there still awesome looking games compaired to the current rubbish out there atm"

I take it you haven't heard that a PC can be used for gaming? :)
GT (and Forza) might be the closest things you have to racing sims on consoles, but in terms of handling realism they are left in the dust by a number of PC titles, most of which are flawed in various areas as well (we're still waiting for new transmission and tire model updates for iRacing for instance), but still a lot closer to the real thing than GT or Forza.

The two console titles do however beat everything else in terms of the sheer number of available cars (the main reason I'm looking forward to GT5), just as pretty much all the best PC racing sims are looking a bit dated in terms of graphics.
  • Zephro #24 2 years ago

For some reason i think Microsoft accountants are laughing at the development cost difference between this and Forza 3.
  • georgebr #25 2 years ago

Those accountants might not laugh so hard when they see that GT5 Prologue sold twice as much than Forza 3 and probably compensated the full GT5's development by itself.
  • BBIAJ #26 2 years ago

    Prologue's been put longer, genius...
  • georgebr #27 2 years ago

Prologue is barely 15% of what GT5 is, genius. It shouldn't be able to compete with bigger games sales wise, but it does.
  • Buztafen #28 2 years ago

SDF in full swing i see. Looking forward to it still but Forza 3 will do me for now.
